Still the League of Nations definitely. Even without the whole "Operation Push Reigns" thing, I still can't believe a tage team between Sheamus, Del Rio, Wade Barrett, and Rusev could work. Mainly because of the sheer amount of heel egos clashing (especially since Rusev in particular at the time was supposed to be a monster heel and the idea of being in a stable seems very unlikely for him)

The J.O.B. Squad was a professional wrestling stable in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the late 1990s. The theme of the group was that each member was a perennial enhancement talent (otherwise known as jobbers), in which they lost to established or up-and-coming wrestlers. I actually felt Retribution had potential. But the problem was execution. If I were booking Retribution I'd have the members be "released" and want to seek revenge on the company. A company they feel treats workers like numbers on paychecks and stock prices instead of human beings.

Yeah, I think it would’ve worked better with disgruntled ex-employees & I also would’ve had it be an NXT Invasion angle. People from black & gold brand (past & present) having enough of the current management. Adam fantasy booked something like that as a buildup to TakeOver: WarGames & SSeries, with some storylines extending to WM and some talent switching sides during the war. It was pretty clever.

A slight correction for the Corre forming in the vid, Slater and Gabriel weren't kicked out by Punk. They left on their own accord since they were still loyal to Barrett and actually went with him to Smackdown to form The Corre (this was around when that year's Draft happened so I always thought it was weird Slater and Gabriel were just able to go to SD like that without being drafted (since Barrett was drafted to SD)

Same here. I was at a time where I didn't know see the connection with the lawn mowers being stereotypical, and because they were among one of the only wrestlers in the game that came down to the ring in vehicles, that instantly made them memorable to me.

I love the attitude era but yeah people forget how much cringe shit there was. They were in a constant state of trying to hot shot the TV ratings to compete with WCW so they were trying to one up themselves every week and we got a lot of ridiculous shit. Sometimes I wonder if we just had normal ass booking with Stone Cold, The Rock, Taker, Kane, Trips, Mr. Poopypants, Mick, HBK, the tag team division, and others without the weird cringe shit would it have just been as iconic. I think a lot of people look back and think the weird cringe adult over the top stuff is what we are missing now and not just having a bunch of superstars who developed great characters.

The first month of Retribution was good, but when it got traction Vince got wind of it and decided to make it into "antifa nerds we can beat up for free" on the main roster. My pick for worst stable (even though I love them) is WCW's Dancing Fools/Boogie Knights, consisting of Disco Inferno, "Wunderkind" Alex Wright, and Japanese legend Tokyo Magnum.
