This is soooo good. I love the fact that the Manowar covers sound so spikey and vicious. Great vocals and obviously great guitar work!

That's Mike Lepond from Symphony X. His solo project, Silent Assassins, is very Manowar-like, so playing with Ross is likely a dream gig for him.

Is this a playback show? The notes that Ross plays in his solos according to the video don't fit the audio. So it is overdubbed or playback. Or simply a "Music video". Nothing wrong with it. But it's not "live".

Every guitarist who's been in Manowar after Ross has been a super-shredder, but Ross himself, not so much. He can play some speedy licks, but he's still very limited in his playing ability. Having come from that punk band The Dictators, perhaps it's more about attitude and feel for him. Granted, he was a great lead guitarist for The Dictators, but a so-so guitarist for Manowar. I often wondered if he felt like he bit off more than he could chew when he joined Manowar, seeing as how every guitarist after him could ply circles around him.
