Hi Crystal, I am a hairdresser of 33 years.. it’s an easy fix ish.. you might not like this idea but it’s your best option and will look great! I would recommend getting some lowlights a shade lighter than on your roots then rinsed off and then put a toner on the rest of it! Great for fall and it really will look stunning! Sorry this happened to you.. but if you hilight over that really dark root it’s going to be really hard to get it a nice blonde

I completely understand you not being happy with your hair. I was in the same situation a few month ago, and left a tip too. I was so mad at myself but it’s hard for me to hurt someone’s feelings even though I was paying for a service. Ross had some great finds! They are about to open our very first Ross here and I am going to storm the door! I want the hat too! I am a JP and MKC lover, but I only have very few pieces of each, because $$$. I get the "inspired" pieces to fill out my vintage looking collection. I'm stressing over having a large, beautiful tree cut down which is too near my house. I have to get it down, but I will miss it's beautiful shade and canopy. Hey Crystal, really enjoy shopping with you. I am so sorry about your hair. I think you are adorable and iyour hair ooks cute, but it only matters what you think. We've all had that happen at least once in our life...This is just me, but I would NOT throw good money after bad and go back to that salon. When I go for color at a new salon, I ask the stylist before we start if they have training as a colorist, and where they trained. I know that may sound like overkill but I do anyway. You can also call for an appointment and ask those questions. Good luck finding the right stylist!!!

I would go to Sally’s and go ask on site color expert help you to fix your hair . I do my hair all the time using hair color from there I’m a same lighter blonde hair that you it always comes out good for me . Hopefully it helps I don’t like highlights either !

You can go back to the hair salon if it’s not what you wanted and they should fix it. Idk how many times I had to go back after a perm because it did not take, it fell all out and looked like I didn’t get a perm. They should fix it. Oh watch out for those skeletons they’re trying to get you! And tell you thought you made a mistake in communication bring a picture of what you want. And on top of that you were confused. It’s up to you.

I woukd call him and tell them you were on the spot and felt unsure while you were there but know the more you look at it and so forth the more your unhappy with the end result ! It's up to you, but personally I wouldn't pay for something you didn't ask for. Let me ask are they Hispanic/, Latino? Cause I think some Hispanic/Latino salonist do what they think looks good and not what you ask for, they don't like when Latino women go lighter for some reason. I use to get that from people because I die my hair lighter and even when I explain, which I shouldn't need to, that even a professional will say it's better to go light when you have greys, because the greys blend in better with lighter hair, they still don't get it or don't want to get it, or both. So I just dye my own hair cause if I mess up I have no one else to blame but myself and I can do the color I choose and save money too.

We are the people that you should get upset in front of. We are your friends through thick and thin and if you’re not happy, we aren’t happy. I don’t know the first thing about hair maintenance or dying or anything like that so I can’t offer you the slightest bit of advice and what to do, but I can be a good friend and feel your pain which I do. I am sitting here bitching over the fact that mine was cut wrong the last time so it’s grown away.
