Of course he won't get any credit but Brian Florez built that defense and drafted and coached up most of those players. That said I believe that HC McDaniel brought that "Sean McVeigh swag" and his own offensive "genius" to The Dolphins. I have always been a Tua fan. I like those lefty "dart throwers" like Tua. Reminds of Ken Stabler who I grew up watching on those 4pm games while eating Mama's fried chicken and mashed potatoes listening to the great Curt Gowdy and Charlie Jones.

I think, besides his offensive/scheme knowledge, what McDaniels brings is: 1) work ethic, he went from ball boy, to "quality control", to RB's coach, to Assistant Offensive coordinator, to O.C., and now he's a head coach. He had to scrape and grind to get to where he is. And, 2) he is a great communicator, with a good sense of humor. He can talk to, and reach, all his guys: vets to rookies, Pro-Bowlers to special team/practice squad guys. That's a hard quality to quantify, but I think it is underrated and important.

This past summer everyone hyperventilated about Davante Adams going to the Raiders and Davante said the Raiders QB would be in the hall of fame. It just shows you that players need to keep their mouths shut and do their talking on the field.

As a Packers fan I wished we still had Devante but an offensive line and a Quarterback matters a lot more then one reciever.

Any qb and wr playing in a new system are most likely going to struggle.. give the Raiders 8 games and they'll start looking like a real football team

How was McDaniels set up to fail? He took over a playoff team. Most new coaches take over teams that were well under .500. Can’t cry for McDaniels after what he did to the colts a few years back.

The Packers were without plenty of people and they still have a bunch of rookies developing. The Packers are not close to their final form.

I agree with Ross the Buffalo thing they were decimated with injuries I knew about the defense but also on the offense several guys out still ran 90 some plays compared to 30 that's not sustainable kind of caught a break and took advantage so credit them for that but that's not sustainable to win they had one offensive touchdown against the Patriots so I'm not on the dolphin train to the advantage they don't play a first place schedule but Buffalo does that's a big difference the Eagles will end up with a bloated record cuz the NFC East absolutely blows I can't see Hertz coming in and playing well enough to beat Rogers or Brady or Stafford

I watched Tua’s walk to the sideline. It seems to me like it could be the back. The walk shows he is in pain to me - not head trauma

This is like the 13th NFL player who has had concussions and back issues telling you it's a head injury there's no doubt it's a head injury if you choose to be deafblind and dumb there's no help for you but it's a head injury

Although I am a Lifelong Detroit Lions fan and I was pissed that they beat my team, at home on Opening Day, I really like The Eagles team this year. Jalen Hurts is still so young and learning. If The Eagles stay relatively healthy, they will be that team that other teams won't want to face in The Playoffs. That ability to change out the D line is huge. Bringing in different and fresh bodies will wear down most NFL Olines. For some reason The NFL seems better when The Eagles and NY Giants are playing well, I can't really explain it.
