One of my favourite stride clips on the web. I like the way Barry had complete confidence in your abilities, such that, he could call out 'stride' and know you were going to be able to make the shift at the drop of a hat. This is easily one of my favorite jazz piano videos on the internet, I just really wish that guy would stop nagging about the tenths, I'd love to clean the audience noise out of this! I've heard this tune before and I can't possibly remember where, I just know that the ending of the main verse hits me with deja vu! 1:54 though, that spectacular finale to the stride section still takes my breath away!

Thanks a lot for the kind words. I'd say it's my own style derived from the Harlem Stride Piano tradition with the addition of some bebop elements in the right hand.
