Hey guys! For the last video of the year, I wanted to create something special, so I went all the way home with all my gear and filmed a video with my mom! I drew her character for Christmas and I'm super happy what we came up with :)
These redraw tutorial videos are some of my favorites to do and they're always a hit with you guys. Hope you like the 'modern' interpretation! Hope you guys have a FANTASTIC Holiday and I look forward to drawing more with you guys next year!

Growing up as a military brat, we were used to moving around a lot. And sometimes had to spend holidays without dad because he would be deployed. But even with the hardships of constantly moving and dealing with deployment, my parents did the best they could to bring magic to the holidays. Now they are retired, and I am the one off working all the time, and I have experienced not being able to be with them during the holidays because of work. But even as an adult, I always look forward to coming home because I know that even now, they do what they can to bring that holiday magic back. Coming home is doesn't mean going back to a specific place, it means coming back to your loved ones and spending time with them. I don't get to see my family enough, so I cherish just being able to visit and experience that magic with them.
