I think it was quite well off kids that got steam boats like the first, most kids of the time made their own with cheap dimestore engines and home made boilers.

Back in the day there was no stablization on cameras . And 4 gigs of ram or so. Had to cram. Thanks for 2cents. I'll keep that in mind when recording.
