Well done amigo. No Jags up here in Washington but my 16” Rossi 44 was the perfect remedy for a cougar that was killing my goats a while back. Stevesgunz safety replacement aperture sight worked fine. Thanks for another fun video

Hola Guapo! Thanks for your comments. Just be thankful that it was a cougar and not a chupacabra ! El Feo

@@skycamproductions I don’t know , might have got a chupacabra sooner. Chased that lion for 3 1/2 weeks. In that time we lost 12 goats. It was a crazy month.. chased and battled wits with that cat for about a month. Might have outsmarted a chupacabra sooner but I don’t know , never crossed paths with one. All we have up here is lions , bears and Sasquatch.

Thanks for a fix of a problem I did not know I could have. But I do love my Rossi 92

Snow Gorilla, thanks for your comment. I was ticked when that happened and the parts took a hike. The lever jammed as recreated in the video. I believe the spring is the culprit. A lighter spring that Steves Gunz sent really made a difference. The Rossi can now pump cartridges faster than Chuck Conners "The Rifleman" could and they land nearby. Rick

Great Clip, Rossi should raise the quality for known problem for new rifles.

Do you think it was that oem spring that caused the failure? I replaced that spring first thing with one twice as long but half the thickness. crazy shells would launch 40 ft away before i did that. seems to be the first thing most like to do. That and cut some spring from the loading tube and replace that plastic follower which I did with a stainless steel one.

I use Miroku Winchester ejector springs in all of mine, the factory spring is too stiff and can break the tail off the ejcctor.

I just bought a Citadel Levtac-92 357mag. I believe it is basically a Rossi 92. I guess I better order a spare ejector and spring. Maybe a few other parts.

Rich, if they are using the same short sturdy spring you may have a problem someday. its a crap shoot. Ive cycled about 50 rounds of 357 and 38 and the action is smooth and the cases are ejected nearby rather than launched like space X. The ejector fell out and i couldnt recover it. so u may not keep another ejector handy
