I remember the balloon stuff CW. I remember seeing it for sale at gas stations and party stores here in Michigan. Now I was 8 or 9 years old when my mom got me it. So you could still get it all the way until 92 93. But I remember the way it smelled most people would have been offended by the smell. Not me I thought it smelled good like fresh spray paint or gasoline. What a blast from the past. I remember it came in a cardboard and plastic blister pack similar to a hot wheels car. But way cheaper it was like 99 cents it was always next to the cheap army men or cheap cars. Super elastic bubble plastic was what it was called it was manufactured by the toy company whaaam o

You made a great choice IMHO! Man that looks so much better then that big red dot. So long as you get a comfortable cheek weld your golden. I used to play with that bubble straw toy myself... just used to get ticked off when the tube of the stuff ran out! LOL Take care

I'm the same way when it comes to mounting optics as low as possible. With lever guns being designed from the ground up as guns with iron sites only, it's even more important to do everything possible to get an optic as low to the bore as possible in order to be able to pull up the rifle and consistently get a proper cheek weld that's not uncomfortably high. The stock on that Browning is GEORGIOUS!!!! What a beautiful rifle!!!

That mount looks really clean. I just purchased a R92 Puma .357 in stainless steel and has black and grey laminate stocks. I mounted a Crimson Trace dot on the pic rail and sighted it in but I myself like a low mount. I wanted to install a 1-4 scope and I can’t because of the top ejecting action. Any suggestions?

I agree. Great lil rifles ! The mount is best served with a small light optic. Like a red dot or reflex.

Interesting.... I have a high mount red dot on my 16" 44 Mag Rossi right now... but it seems a little high to me.... I may have to get a flush mount - I have a Steves Gunz mount on mine. And you must be old because I remember that stuff you were talking about too - the plastic stuff with the tube you blow on to make a bubble-balloon. The stuff was in a tube.

Carry strap is old I have had for a long time. The leather wrap is from is from a Company called LEATHER WRAP! Good stuff!!

The Rossi base is made by Rucker Machine. Most Dovetails drive out to the Right and go in from Left.

I do not remember myself. But I know it's in one of the COMENT's SECTIONS for the videos on this rifle. Ck my email in my about page and email me if ya still cannot find ill look around and find it for ya. I was just in the safe and the mount has no name on it. I do know that the first mount I had was a NOE bullets. But its discontinued and now on my buddies 454. That one was just the pic rail style. The one I have is a RMR style for a REFLEX site direct mount.

Only one way to find out if it's the same as the balloon stuff. Put some on a straw and give it a try, if it makes a balloon you should make a video shooting it with the new Red dot 👉🏼💨🎈God bless

This is a Justice. So RMR foot print. It fits and works well. If I was buying (cause I had Justice) Id look for a Green Dot. Green is easier for most folks ta see and has advantages for astigmatism.

Yes sir the Rossi was D&T from factory. The Brownings mount utilizes the dovetail ONLY so no extra smithing or altering needed for EITHER OF THEM!!

Id rather use a green dot, but couldn't find one that was in OD green. I have the Rossi as well in .357 stainless and put a primary arms red dot on od green but dot red. I have it sighted in at 100 yds,and its great. I think though at some future point im going to get a micro prism.
