Would a 9mm or .357 fit in the cups to glue in and be facing forward for better aerodynamics. You could do 147 grain, 115 hollow point. I understand it might be a bit loose in the barrel but I think they would fly straight weight forward and maybe have more velocity down range because of the light weight and point forward.

Nice rifle👍 Back in my youth, I had a fascination with the small centerfire calibers. The one I was trying to find the most was the .17 Remington. I never did find one, but I did get a .17HMR when they came out, boy am I glad I never found a .17 Remington, the wind pushes that little .17 caliber bullet all over the place.🤦‍♂ Looks like I should have sought a .22 caliber instead.👍

That looks like a handy little cartridge, wish stuff like that was more popular. 5.7X28 seems the most similar, but has it's own reloading issues

Super nice rifle and shooting CW 👏 😊 Are you trying to video with a phone on that spotting scope? If so, course you need an adapter, but with mine, it likes to be very close to the spotting scope. You may need to fold that eye piece rubber down and get the phone closer 😉 My phone has 6 lenses on the back, and only "1" of them records video through my spotting scope 😮 🇺🇸 🇺🇲

I've found a few .22K Hornet brass at my local range, only a few in 10 years though.

I bought one after shooting a friend’s 6.5G in an AR platform. I bought a Boyd’s stock, modified it by removing the squared off corners, and repainted it in optifade, and put the Jefferson mag conversion on it. The Boyds stock is fine, just heavy to carry for extended hikes. It shot accurately, was just heavy. So, I dropped it back in the stock stock. Now it’s easy to carry. I also have a 6.5CM but prefer to carry the 6.5G. I like the two so much that I gave my oldest grandson my Dad’s Ruger 30.06. I have an extra AR lower so just might order an upper.
