I have a Thompson Center Contender that i converted to 22k hornet. The gun was a 44mag pistol i used for hunting back in Missouri but out here in Nevada it really isnt a feasible hunting gun. So instead of it sitting in the safe i put it to use. I picked the k hornet because it was something unusual and most folks have never even heard of it. With the right load shs will put them in the same hole. The only issue as of late is fjnding 22 hornet brass. Just pick up a handi rifle in 22 hornet the other day for a few hundred buck. Not quire as nice as yous but close. I shoot thesd a lot sinse they use much less powdrf than my other rifles,dspecially with crazy ass powdrr prices.

Happy 4th of July, CW!!!! I just came into the house to get cleaned up to go to the fireworks show in town. I was shooting a Savage mkII.22lr. I dropped it into a Boyd's featherweight thumb hole stock in coyote laminate. I just had some cheap federal auto match and champion ammo. Grouped both at a bit over an inch at 50 yards. I was hitting drink bottles at 200 yds., but not very consistent. Time to move on to some better ammo. Now, isn't that the dreaded "T- word" rifle that got you in trouble before?!?! Let's see if they are offended again!! I like that "We the people" on the side, too!
