Beautiful house. I would convert the kitchen downstairs to a bedroom with a bathroom and I would build a kitchen/dinning/ living room without touching the ceilings. And the bathroom upstairs can be renovated with a small shower, no bidet and sink/ toilet seat together like you suggested . That will be my dream home in Italy .

I would move the kitchen upstairs to the room with the diagonal striped floor then make the kitchen a guest bedroom with use of the downstairs bathroom.

A library in a fireplace! Never before. I guess if you don’t like the book it’s a short trip up the chimney. What a ton of clutter! Pantry, entryway, attic stairs. Thank goodness the bedrooms are pretty straight. It’s like you were in two different homes. It shows how well the house can be with some straightening up. I don’t recall seeing an office or a desk in any of the homes. Where do Italians pay their bills and keep their ledgers? I have boxes and filing cabinets of records.

This One is amazing! If only it had a terrace…. But the beautiful vaulted ceilings and spacious rooms make up for it. I agree with making downstairs a bedroom for guests with a bathroom and move the kitchen diner upstairs. Fabulous price as well. Think this one will go quickly 😊

Ciao Fiorella and Aden, the house is beautiful, the ceilings and floor tiles, are priceless. I was thinking the same thing, maybe seeing if you could get a kitchenette, on the first floor. Keeping the main Kitchen for canning, or holiday cooking. I think the village has so much charm, it's so hard to imagine it being so old. Thank you for showing this one. Amore da N.Y.

Love this one! I immediately thought I’d turn that first room upstairs into a big kitchen. Could you close off that little hallway upstairs, that leads to the living room and make that little hallway part of a full sized bathroom with shower. So you would walk up the steps, go straight through that first room (that I would make a kitchen) and have to walk through that other doorway to get to the living room.

What a beautiful apartment. So much space. It would still need a bit of jigging about though. 3 big bedrooms upstairs....another decent full bathroom is needed. Perhaps that spare bedroom could be 3/4 Kitchen and 1/4 Bathroom???? Imagine having guests and only having the current bathroom! The ONLY thing the apartment lacks is some outside space. Otherwise it is superb.

This is a very old house because it has those two feet walls. Amazing how they built hundred of years ago houses that last. What I do not like in most of these houses is the steep stairs. Not many are on one level. Thanks for your your.

PS...downstairs i would make that first area into a pantry - lots if shelves to store food etc and then enlarge the kitchen because the storage area would no longer be required.

The great room alone is worth the asking price, but the rest needs up dating . Redo both baths and add a second kitchen up stairs. This would make it more livable.

I Must Ask A Question. Why Is There Paint on the Front of Some Building.This One Has a Strip, One had Red Paint Thrown in Front of Doors ( covered up a bit?) What does it Mean? Surely They Cleaned the Walls after the War.( didnt they do this as some sort of signal to identify Occupancies. Is Maybe it Means Vacancy? I am so Curious?

This house is very nice, but I missed an information about the purpose of the door straight in front of the entrance in the first floor. It looks like the building is being divided, and I wonder how cases like this ale legalized overthere. Do you have information about it?

Hi. It didn't seem to be a door for what we remember. About the documents that's a question for the realtor, but it's very common that dwellings change layout. There would be architects, geometras, the council and the cadastral office involved to update documentation according to the changes that have been made. Just like most countries, I guess.
