This is a great video. It's hard to find objective comparisons that aren't primarily focused on downing the competition. I'm a long time skidoo rider and I'm switching to a khaos boost. Not because I don't love my freeride and other BRP sleds. it's because the skidoo shops in South Central Alaska are really bad. It doesn't matter how good the warrantee is if the service isn't there. The polaris shops have a really good reputation for fast and high quality warranty work. I've riden the khaos briefly and it will take some time to get used to , it doesn't feel anything like a skidoo. They feel very rigid while the doo just flexes any way you want it to. Sounds like the lynx is the same way. And I love the concept of handling bumpy trails on the way tob the steep and deep! Maybe I'll jump on one of these next year??? Thanks for the info!

hey, im new to scoping out lynx. how do they review for a crossover sled? I love how they look and really want a brp engine but overall I've heard the Switchback Assault eats on and off trail.
@nsa67903 жыл бұрын
From someone who’s owned both a backcountry from doo and a sba from poo if you’re looking at a crossover sled you need to consider what you ride. If you ride any more than 30% off trail the doo is going to be your better choice. That’s simply because the sba is literally just a trail sled with a longer skid/track. Now if you don’t like the look of a doo, the lynx rave re is also a good choice. Has the 850, has killer suspension for off trail, wide skis that give floatation, an uncoupled skid which helps lots, and can be track swapped to a 1.75” or a 2” track for the ultimate crossover.
@johanneskoskela3843 жыл бұрын
I would recommend to wait for the 3700 RE. That thing can take all trails, and it performs as well on deepsnow adventures. It is the sled for jumping and playing around. Best crossover.

Hey Ross. Local shuswap guy here very interested got to spend a little time on the machine on Monday up at crowfoot here from the salesman at rtr in kamloops. Do couple annual grizzly lodge trips. I am an aggressive rider love the technical stuff. Only question I had was the limiter strap adjustment felt like it wanted t keep the skis up all the time the wide skis made it challenging to get it on its side. Think a few tweaks or maybe a possible change of ski would significantly change it style. Any input would be great as I feel I want t snow check one. I love jumps and big hits
@Rossxr3 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the length of that limiter. I believe most of the demo sleds are let all the way out. so If you change it by one or two holes the front end will be much more tame.. do you maybe ride a skidoo currently? because the t-motion is going to make the sled easier to get on edge. but when you get into the gnarly stuff the rigid skid of the lynx is going yo excel. I would much rather have that then a sled that is slightly easier yo get on edge. you could try different skis but I think its much more the rear end then the ski.

Kinda funny how the base model in USA is around $15k and the exact same model in Sweden and Finland where it´s freakin´ built is $18k😂

There's no way this is built in Europe. It may be assembled from parts in Europe but most of this machine is just Ski-doo components.

Come on Ross BRP can suck it. How can you get behind a company that walks away from their brand? Evinrude? Oh man it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.... until well we aren’t going to make outboards anymore. Horrible company. I’m looking forward to my snow checked matrix for next season. I have always liked your videos and I realize the mighty dollar is involved in every decision and you have to make a living . BRP has proven they will drop their product leaving their customer with a decimated value on their purchase.
