Mechanical cleaning of hardened cement damages plastic. To remove hardened cement from plastic without damage, place the plastic in acid for a day. Any, you can use strong acids too, for example hydrochloric acid. Cement will become loose. After removing cement, remove whitish stains with soda and alcohol-containing liquids for washing window glasses. For finishing, there are special reducing agents to restore the appearance of the plastic. This drill has a rather complicated device, a lot of work. Well done job.

Thank you. I started fixing my drill with a different video that completely skips the small cylindrical rollers at the base of the chuck, so when I pulled out the chuck, they went flying. It was a bitch looking for them on my shop floor among a million other small bits of metal. I wish I had found your video first.

Сам, занииаюсь ремонтом инструмента и не только и плиты и т д. Но первое вижу, что четки чуть не последним снимают. Их вроде 1 снимают. А Фери с тазиком класс. Перф новый был. Только на 1 положил воду с перегедролю и все и маслом измазыл и делает ремонт.

First acid as you say to dissolve mortar, then sandblast plastic, finally heatgun to melt surface of plastic and create shiny surface. No paint needed.

I have that same drill, quite a great masonry drill for the price and for it being a consumer product. Tore out my chimney and done plenty of other masonry type work with it and it still chooches.

Ok for light work ,, get a hilti when its gets time for real work , i bought a Hilti TE-76 P ATC at the pawn shop for $200.00 and that monster runs 1' bits thru a 10 thick foundation like its butter , 4' core bit nor problem , its heavy weighs 13pus pounds , still dont mind the Bosch for light jobs .

@@johnwallace1729 Oh yeah I'll bet, never tried core bits, any time I needed one, I had to go deeper than any of the core bits I found could do so I just ended up using a long smaller bit to make the hole manually. I imagine contractors have access to more heavy duty bits than consumers get at Home Depot.
