Benefits of Vacuum Plasma Treatment:
Plasma treatment serves for removing contaminants on the surfaces of substrates and PCBA's such as oils, silicone, oxidation, organic and inorganic compounds. It serves for increasing the surface energy on a substrate (breaking the surface tension), while also making atomic level surface modifications that increase surface area. These changes allow better wettability and stronger adhesion for applied coatings and glues to substrates that are plasma treated, making their bonds less susceptible to fail.
