Our rotary powered pit truck project is taking a quick pause while we wait for some custom bits to finalize the conversion - but not before it gets some PROPER wheels from our friends at Work. And a fuel tank donation from Mr. James Deane himself.

@@goodkill1 uh ok. Explain then bud. Do you have a hand brake in your car? Hydraulic or cable makes no difference if it works. Mine is hydraulic. I can do entire events without using it and others it's necessary only if you make a mistake. It all depends on the course, what initiation your using. A high power car will probably be using a hand brake more on a tight course really, Bud. In the burn yard or just freestyle shredding you absolutely should have one. Explain to me why power to weight changes that.

It's funny to see these real builder/fabricators in a real shop mocking stuff up and drilling/beating on stuff in the middle of the floor like cavemen, the way I do in my own 'garage' (just a big covered patio, but I make it work), haha! Should have welded nuts to the top of the bracket plate so you could simply thread in bolts from underneath without having to worry about a wrench on top to hold the nut in place. Love all the fab work you guys do though, probably some of my favorite stuff on the channel.

Dan, whatcha think about adding some gussets to the fuel cell bracket? Looks like you guys went with the V1 design and all that weight is hanging from your hammer bent bracket. Kyle could plasma some small gussets for you in a few minutes and you could stitch weld em in there.

Glad Vargas had the presence of mind to get someone with the camera for the unboxing of the wheels. Some nice new tools for Dan! WhooHoo!! I seriously hope there's some dead blow hammers in that shit. I cringe every time I see someone bust out a ball pein hammer, and struggle to barely get something done. And I always get a kick out of the tire mounting technique. Glad to see Hert make an appearance. Always impressed that you guys have the CNC plasma cutter. Kinda incredible seeing Dan and Kyle come up with a finished part from an idea and some quick measurements. It's looking really damn good!! Keep up the awesome work!

Not many wide options for 14 inch rims. And they might have to use a different rear end that's bigger for the power. So that might push the wheels out.
