Really love the way you guys advertise for companies. Integrating entertainment and products that we actually might be interested in.
@rhythmtreble73116 жыл бұрын
letting the product speak for itself. not giving it a pitch/sell. the very fact that it's good enough for them means it's plenty good for us. and makes us at least not feel like idiot consumers
@taylorjams48456 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Can't tell you how much i really hate when videos take a break from the topic to pitch me a completely unrelated item like im an idiot. I get it. Adds make money. Money helps with content and making a living. Thats great but the delivery of the adds is one of my biggest reason for liking or subscribing. Its the difference between passion for the content they make and just shoving a product down my throat for a quick buck. I use TYT as a great example. Those guys piss me off.
@analog56x6 жыл бұрын
motortrend started doing that, and id just skip over the section. now they have their own on demand thing, and are only posting teasers to youtube, so unfortunately, ive stopped watching roadkill... i watch finnegan's garage though, he's on the youtubes.
@Stonerolog1st5 жыл бұрын
Proper product placement make you want it more in my eyes, a jump cut, intermission or commercial is too much and I feel like i should skip it before i forget why i came to the video , the way some others do theirs is a bit too much but the way some lead into it is almost too perfect and you won't realize its a trap until its too late such as from our sponsor's LinusTechTips

This is hardly comparable to roadkill. Two totally different shows. Roadkill they make junkers run and drive with minimal stuff in driveways and then road trip them. Dan is building a full on drift car.

@ragnarfoxtrot46226 жыл бұрын
For the tire install, there's usually a dot on the tire that you line up with the valve stem either right next to or opposite depends on how it balances up, i usually do that then check balance to see what orientation provides the better balance (at times that will zero a balance and you're done) then i will add weights. that way i'm adding as little weight as possible to get zerod out balance.
