I have been playing with rotary's since 1980 at one time I had over 104 Fb's and Fc's Rx7's in storage ..I would buy them from the local insurance company's auctions.. I have had Rx2's Rx3's and a few Rx4's..my Brother and I rebuilt and sold everything that was worth putting back on the Road..a lot were parted out..I am now doing the same with RX8's..but my new thing is a LHD 1970's Mazda 1200 2 door Notchback .I was considering changing to a right hand drive(with parts from a RHD FD I am wondering which engine to use in it a P Port 13b ,a 12A FD Iron plate engine, or just a Turbo'd or Eaton M 90 Supercharged 13B..it's all Factory White with a Red Interior which I will replace with Red Leather.. If anyone want's to own it Let me know. If you want it .. I will ship it Anywhere PS it has 58,000 miles on the clock . my Favorite would be the LHD White R100 Coupe With the Huge rear Wheel tubs but I love them all..Cheers..keep rotating

I really wish rotary owners would be a little more creative and not all go for a bridgeport, Simmons and loud paint jobs. A few nice toned down ones in there, and I'd like to see more period correct "mods" myself. The Green FD with widebody just looks silly to me. Already looks dated IMHO. But to each their own of course and I'm glad people enjoy these cars, just wish there was a little more of the "Japanese" homeland look about them.

They are out there, but being a track day this event attracts a lot of quick cars that need a track to be able to open them up all the way. Green rx2 at the end totally turned me off all rotaries. I was enjoying the revival so much until I seen that green one at the end of this video. I mean I won't call it a rotor as I doubt anyone would drive such an ugly looking Mazda with gold fake Simmons that don't even match that snotty green colour. Seriously if your gonna get a rotary of any sort at least do it right. Nothing beats the look of an rx3 especially if its a couple well thats just mine and another 5000 peoples opinions. Maybe its why iv never seen it at these revival shows cause the owner must feel so embarrassed that they hide from any cameras or it must be a piston engine. All I can say is YUK! thank god for the monster of r100 blocking us all from seeing it. Now that's what you call a rotary.

And when you said "geez" its not that bad I could have sworn to have seen it in another video with the plates saying geez or something like that lol. I think someone has told them how bad it looks. Ok maybe I'm being a bit harsh. But after seeing so many good looking rotaries and not being a rotor person myself and then just to see that at the end it just ruined the whole thing for me.
