Omg talk about memory lane!! I'm from Racine but moved to Texas as a child .. I went to Janes elementary!!! I would ride my bike 🚴 all around those places .. I miss Racine

It's actually pretty much a shit hole, It's really gone downhill over the years. It's overpopulated with law enforcement. not to mention it's loaded with liberals

You haven't seen the bad parts Racine. The south east side, just south of downtown is a rats nest. The people there have no respect for their neighborhood. Racine had over 100 thousand people in the 70s when it was an industrial town. Now there is very little here. This years census will probably show more people have left. We will be lucky if there is 70K still living here.

The city has over 70,000 people and over 100,000 with the surrounding towns. That's not a small town.

@@Marys_Life_64It is small compared to other cities I lived in. Rockford, 270 thousand and Milwaukee 600,000. Racine is a dying city and it most likely will never come back.

Whoa, that yellow and brown house on the end was my Grandparents home. We'd spend every year there on the 4th of July as the parade passed.

It feels weird thinking that some of the places, like Phoenix, is downtown. I just moved from Chicago, and with the big style difference between the area around the library, and the zoo, it just feels like two different areas to me. What a great town. So much safer, cleaner, and cheaper than anywhere in Cook County.
