Damn, I remember setting up helical cutting like that back in trade school. Once. The teacher flat out said we'd never use it but he had to teach it because it was on the curriculum. And no, I've never used it since. Luke spent *a lot* of time on this for you :)

Very generous contribution by Luke! Hard-core machinist math, working out the involute vs module then a masterful video montage of the gear cutting operation. Many hours were spent for this effort then the Pantagraph engraving really seals the job! Thanks Luke!

Well I cheated a bit and made 2 matching gears as wasn't sure what I was doing being the fist time make helical gears hopefully they fit good. Now I want to engrave all My projects as realised it finished them off nicely :)
