i'm having an issue where when I duplicate the rotation for my shapes, they immediately do not line up with the checkerboard pattern I created? any ways to fix this?

Great tutorial! Except when I draw segments I have anchor points and you can't expand objects without a fill. Help?

The point of expanding an object is to get the anchor points, so you don't need to expand if you already have the anchor points you need. Can you explain in a little more detail?
