Thanks a lot but I try and treat everyone the way I want to be treated and being in a situation like this some times is embarrassing for the older trucks but I’m not one to ever judge thanks for watching

Good job and most importantly... good on you for being patient and going above and beyond to help him secure the straps. He's working hard but dang! So much arthritis in those hands! Made me want to jump through the screen and help him tighten those straps.

Yea he was a very kind old man that has been on the road for a long long time so anything I can do for someone like that I will hands down and it’s a plus when they tell me how appreciated they are when I do things like that as some other guys are just out to get the job done and get on to the next don’t get me wrong I have that mind set to but I also feel for every customer as seeing me isn’t always a good thing thanks for watching

I found these rubberized metal edge protectors that are perfect for holding down steel loads. Plastic edge peotectors and naked nylon straps don't grip.

Whoever loaded that truck should be charged with a crime. A frame of 2X4 steel flat tubes should have been prepared to load these pieces of a structure. People do not understand how dangerous a sloppy load is. It can kill people, that is serious business.

Once again, great Video. It's great to see that there are still some good guys left out there. The way that you interact with all of the Drivers goes a long way to show the type of person that you are. One question, how long have you been running wreckers? Keep up the good work and Stay Safe!

Malachi, I just started watching your videos and find them interesting. It was nice of you to wait around to give Joe a hand re-securing his load. It would have taken him quite a while to do that by himself. Two questions: why are the control levers on each side of your truck different? what is the purpose of the twist in the strap?
@McKaysWreckerservice6 жыл бұрын
The twist in the strap is to prevent flapping in the strap while driving and my driver side has controls to operate all functions my passenger side only operate my boom and winches thanks for watching
@bluewaterbottle15 жыл бұрын
If you don’t put that twist in when you have straps not up against something like that. They will start to hum when you hit highway speeds and it gets annoying real fast. Plus, it can cause the straps to rub against an edge on whatever its holding down and that could cause the strap to fail.
@larrynickel34246 жыл бұрын
STRAPS GOING ACROSS THE TOP OF THEM BEAMS SHOULD ALSO HAVE TWIST AS THE SIDES
@paublusamericanus2926 жыл бұрын
my opinion of this load has half as many straps as it needs. maybe a third.
