ROTAX 912 ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF | SLING 2 LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT

I had brought my GoPros along to film a scenic flight around Johannesburg with my girlfriend Kiara, only to have an engine failure on takeoff. We are both OK and thank goodness we were able to control it before anything got dangerous.
I hope for this to teach people what it's like to have an engine failure on rotation and to start a discussion on how to better prepare ourselves for such a scenario. This particular engine was a Rotax 912ULS 100hp engine - we believe that the problem was fuel contamination.
All was done under the safety and supervision of ATC (Air Traffic Control) and I am thankful they would have been there if anything got worse.
