I actually prefer these to the highly acclaimed Dynaudio Heritage. The bass of the 20i extends deeper and has more weight.

@@astralboy I meanwhile heard the Heritage sound quite good paired with REL subwoofers though...

@@connorduke4619 oh i see... i in fact have several REL models, great subs. are the heritage similar to the P3ESR?

@@astralboy I understand the Harbeth has a metallic tweeter and is brighter up top whereas the Dynaudio silk dome is more forgiving and laid back. Both are excellent bookshelf brands, trust your ears!

The Dynaudio tweeter is metallic coated though, so still clear and well extended. Dynaudio is the master of intelligent engineering compromises in loudspeaker design. Also the cabinet shape, internal damping, aluminium front panel mean the Dynaudio cabinet is vastly superior to the Harbeth cabinet.

I'm curious about the sound difference between Contour 20 and 20i.
@connorduke46197 ай бұрын
The "i" in 20I stands for "improved" and the 20i is clearly an improvement over the 20, mainly in the treble refinement department.

@@amourtiger5018 More specifically, the main change was a Hexis tweeter wave diffuser was added to the back io the tweeter, after Dynaudio research found it worked so well on their other models.
