I think we've gotten our last bit of proof that cronch is a bad ass, if y'all remember in like EP 3, the party found him burned and beat up after fighting the amalgamate *alone*, here we see that same amalgamate made a mockery of a sizeable tyrants guild patrol. Therefore don't fuck with our boy cronch.

I like the idea that Khronch died in that fight, and was resurrected b/c he's sponsored by Uncle Blaze instead of Auntie Drown. He got kind of weird while looking at the flames in the forge, after the spider fight. And it's not like the party could tell if he had Rot under all that armor.

By the end of this adventure Rehua will have a chainsaw fist, Oren’s wooden arm has been grafted to his frame as a third arm and the glowing pistols as the sole Survivor of the party. Baldrics helmet and tanhausers still talking head hangs off him as trophies of his lost friends.

This was a much needed breather after an epic, nail-biting finale that happened last episode, and it's a great season ending point, with some arcs pushed onwards, some foreshadowed, and a promise of something new coming by. It will be very interesting to see more of the world of Rotgrind and what lore awaits the party at the swamp :> For the algorithm!

You know, the players seem to respawn with some of the stuff they had on them but usually the players have had their bodies destroyed when they die. However, when they fell down the sinkhole there was no wheeled woodchipper or full body thermal ablation waiting at the bottom so there should be duplicates of some of their gear down at the bottom. Sure when Baldrics' stuff went smash he might have gone a bit melty but other than Tanhauser there doesn't seem to be much in the way of precision machinery to worry about smashing so there could be a fairly good haul. They should totally rappel down and loot their own corpses.

I don't think you remember what happened with the car. When they die they literally pop out of existence with everything in their inventory the DM confirmed this when there was no feathers from oran when they died
