Cheers Craig. Well done to you both. Pleased you managed to finish safely and stay upright. Tricky conditions so they did well to get the event on. I ran on canal Saturday and it was so precarious. Couple of near misses but somehow finished without slipping. Not sure how ‘B’ course compares to ‘A’ course. A bit narrow in places but Rothwell looks a lovely park. Not had chance to do that ParkRun but it will happen soon. Thanks again.

Thanks Colin. We plan to go back when the conditions are better to do the full course which takes you up to the top of the park on the tarmac by the cafe where the poor guy nearly lost his footing behind us. Definitely would recommend it ☺️ It’s a funny one with the canal. I’d think in ice it might be better because of the type of surface it is. But knowing how much distance you cover, I know you’ll have probably hit the many different areas with mud, compacted and tarmac so a massive well done getting it done pal 👌👏🏃‍♂️

An idea course for this weather. I’m 100% treadmill running at the moment. You’re getting good consistency again now. ✊

Yeah it was actually perfect for the conditions, not being a trail fan, I was surprised how much i enjoyed nearly 28 minutes of trying not to roll by ankle 🤣🤣 Not a bad time of year to be confined to the treadmill to be fair, I’m on it in a bit thanks to the 10cm of white stuff outside. Haha no cake today. The shoes are New Balance 1080v13 not had and NB for a wipe so got these and some Nike zoom x’s to alternate so I’m not trashing my feet as I up the old mileage. Im glad they kept their colour haha that’s more important to me than drop, carbon plates and support 🤪
