So Im just baffled this is true, no skins in the battle bass. No shinies in the update. No update overall into the game. Recycled mission tree from 2 seasons ago. Well DECA did not cook here. Comment what you think!

I started playing again back in May of last year. Then I promptly quit after they shortened the seasons lengths from 45-60 days down to just 30. As someone who works full time and has other games, it provides absolutely zero time to actually progress in the season. When I saw that the missions were pretty much the same as a couple seasons back, as well as no new shinies, it just told me to fully give up. Even with the missions, if you want to have any form of progression you need to have this be basically the *only* game you play. Realm/DECA does not respect your time anymore

It’s not totally the same battle pass. There used to be a “complete 5 nest to pick any of the whites” in the crucible section. Now they added a Kog chest so I’d say it’s worse than just straight up recycling.

this game is just bad, but i played it like 400 hours i think the idea is good but the polish is to low and the greed are to high. ps. no offense against the youtuber.

Deca's greed really speaks volumes about the adolescents behind the scenes working on it. Only a bunch of unenlightened bafoons could tear the gaming canvas that was Rotmg and try to make an atm out of it.

I also noticed that all my green dust red dust and purple dust are completely got off my seasonal. and so I thought it would transfer to my main but it did not. so they just completely get rid of all the dust I was grinding for on my seasonal. I was working for the insane price of 1750 purple to UNLOCK an engraving of a leaf bow and got to 400 purple dust after about a week and a half. but unfortunately it is all gone and its just not even worth it at this point. My seasonal account had 2k green dust and 2k red dust and around 400 purple dust, Now my seasonal has 0 of any dust. My main account only has 900 green dust and 100 red dust and 84 purple dust. Just wondering it deca actually cares about keeping its player base cuz this doesnt make me want to play more

I feel pretty certain this is a way for them to drive retention - Oryxmas brings back a ton of players every year, and if you played a reasonable amount, you got this season free. It’s a short, lackluster season because they effectively gave it away to keep people engaged with the season pass (you can’t get next season free from coupons), so I bet February will come with a real update.

I don’t understand them…they know what we want and what will make the game better and consistently fun. It’s a shame, Realm has had potential since I started playing in 2012. Yet, no one ever capitalizes on this and it stays just an average predictable content game. I really hope things change! Should be a big year.

I feel like they should literally just make the season longer, but I guess you cannot milk players out of BattlePass money if you make it longer. Add to that not only delaying the beacons in the realm, which would already be a HUGE QoL change for the game, but recycling mostly everything, from crucible to the mission tree and possibly even the BattlePass (I guess at least this one was "free", since it's the worst we've seen so far) Honestly cannot say I'm surprised, but I am definitely disappointed.

It’s too bad they missed their shiny release schedule, but I’m hopeful this means they were busy at the office working on the big new releases. Realm rework and spectral penitentiary are coming up / already behind schedule so I know they have a lot going on up there.

As an hard endgame player i can say that this ssn is as any other one makes no difference to me only thing i dont like is that same tree from few seasons back. But free battle pass is great thing

I played a bit today but I think I'm gonna quit. The recycle is boring and my entire guild just sits in discord. No life to the game and just to have that progress taken away in 30 days. It was fun coming back to realm but I don't wanna play an MMO alone :/

what do you mean it's the same, they changed the pink star seasonal missions, 2 months ago they were get 1/8, get 4/8 and get 8/8 i think and it was highly cheeseable, but now it's close realm, kill o1, kill o2
