An intro guide on what the Trickster is and what she does, recorded in the style of a semi-rant.

The decoy's pattern of movement is always going in the direction you went previous to the teleport, so a good way to use the decoy is to run forward halfway between you and the enemy, and teleport back to your original position. Then the decoy will run into the enemy.

The way to control the decoy is to go to the direction that you want it to go then shoot it then go back thats how you control the decoy

BTW pattern for trickster, if you are not moving decoy will move randomly however if you are moving the decoy will continue to move in the direccion you were walking for a short time. To see start going down and teleport while going down, after the teleport stay still and decoy will go down. This applies to any direccion

i belive i know how decoy works , if you use it while standing it will walk randomly , if you use it far away it will go in your general direction , if you're moving the decoy will continue moving the same way you were going

The pattern for the Prism is the direction that you are walking in is the same way the decoy goes. For example if you are running into a god wall and you teleport while walking into it your decoy goes straight into it because you were walking this way. Hope it helped

The decoy goes in the direction you are going in if you were moving when you activate your ability. If you are stationary, then it goes in a random direction. I think that the mystic also requires learning curve.

@bickuribox12 Not sure if this is useful anymore but from what i have seen, the decoy runs in the direction you were running when you use the prism, and if you are standing still it will go the opposite direction of where you teleport to

okay, talwar, this may be a late comment, and you might already know by now. But the way the decoy works is it walks a set distance the same way you were walking when you used it. if standing still, i believe its random. Hope this helps :)

Alright, lemme tell you talwar. The prism makes your decoy go whatever direction your character was last going. So if you are going down and then teleport up, the decoy will continue going down and you can safely get away. Trust me, I got a 6/8 trickster to live for 1 year. Mana and life is too hard for me :c

It moves in the direction that you were moving the moment you teleported, not the last direction you were moving, say im moving up, i stop, the decoy doesnt move up, it moves unpredictably

a lot of times people don't use the trickster to the max. I don't suggest this to people who hate, or just not that good, or don't have a good pet. If you learn the enemy's attack pattern you can jump in and out of attacks. I FEEL (opinion) she is the fastest class because even when unmaxed, if your pet is like mine lvl70 or something like that, you can move just as fast as a maxy. +bickuribox12 sir, that's the worst trickster set, here's the best one; the green dagger , because you need the grass elements to defeat Brock in a pokemon battle, it is also the best item in the game the red head rush which is Givin to you by willem, which makes it the best item in the game, you can also juke nukem through a wall the purple overcoat, it is the best item in the game, and you also get the blessings of a ninja, and the ninja is cool lastly for your blind as a hipster you need the rock ring, which proves you beat Brock in a pokemon battle, also it is the best item in the game

I know I'm replying on a *four year old video* and that this should probably go onto the RotMG subreddit, but can I just say that the Trickster has more strategy involved than the Mystic? I've read the RotMG wiki a bunch, and every time I hear "Mystic" there's the word "strategy" thrown in there too. It makes sense, the Orbs can be used to stasis a few minions to allow access to the boss, or it can be used for rushing, or crowd control. However, in practice (and I don't know if it's just me) the Orb is really, really inaccurate. 70% of the time I wind up stasising the boss and it's super fucking annoying. I feel that the Trickster has more strategy involved because it forces you to really think about positioning and movement. Almost every other class in the game is either "shoot shoot shoot from a long ass distance and spam ability", "shoot shoot shoot from a medium distance and spam ability", or "shoot shoot shoot from a small distance and spam ability". Point and shoot man, just point and shoot. On the other hand, Trickster also goes "shoot shoot shoot" but when using ability she can't really spam it. As you're shooting, and you activate the ability, you may wind up teleporting onto the enemy. You also have to aim the decoy precisely, as it can easily walk towards you and pull the bullets up to your face. I think that's really interesting because it requires you to stay on your feet a bunch, rather than letting your brain turn to mush and slowly drip away.

Mystic is probably one of my best classes so let me tell you, the stasis effect has a lower range than curse so if you practice it enough you can completely evaporate bosses because they noblonger have the backup of their minions. Trickster is as hard as mystic, just different

YES! Thank you so much for this I got a Spirit last week so I wanted to make a trickster but I have never played one. So now you showed me how to play him I know exactly waht to do. Thanks for the great videos as always. Edit: I use spirit on a trickster because I like to use a diff dagger for each dagger class and I feel Cdirk is best on rogue as long as your solo which I usually am, while foul is best on assasin because I feel assasin is the most vulnerable and foul is the safest and spirit was actually meant for trix so I just use spirit on trix. Then I use Csilk, Nile, and apparations/t0.
