Do you ever have issues with the center valve assembly cracking, which causes a slow leak from the spout? We have 16 of these faucets and we're finding that the valve is cracking on a number of them. We've only had them for 18 months. The valves are very expensive and I wouldn't think they would crack so quickly. Appreciate any feedback.

Hi Timothy, apologies for such a lengthy response time. As a matter of fact we did have a several month time frame where we ran into that very problem. This has been our favorite go to roto control faucet since it was first offered into the market. We use the flow control version almost exclusively. Early last year (2017) we had a few months where those white cylinders were cracking regularly. We contacted the manufacturer that swore that not one spec was changed. We find that hard to believe because we haven't had problems since. Seems odd to us that the problem would come and go in the time it takes to go through a major manufacturing run. Anyway, you can try adding a little extra lube/grease to keep it moving smooth. Hopefully if you've replaced the drums they haven't broken since and it was just temporary for you as well.
