I picked up my first iq solid in the fall of 2020, and kicked myself for not doing it sooner. Got the iq nano Pearl at the same time to round out the iq bag with the emerald. One of them will always work on house. Sometimes even throw a different one each game just because they are all amazing and fun to throw

Both are great! IQ is definitely stronger because of the cover. I’d pick the IQ because of the pin reaction. It sends them low and all over the place (for me, that’s better pin carry) The Camo kicks the pins backwards.

I have the Hustle Camo as my number 3 ball for league play….it’s awesome. My league bag is Proton Physix, Phase 2 and Hustle Camo. Our league oil pattern is a little longer and more volume than most house patterns. Great Video.

The Hustle line in general is phenomenal!! Shot my highest sanctioned set with the RAP, a 746. Hustle PBR stayed in my tournament bag. Loving my Camo so far, just adjusted the surface to 2000. Hustles are definitely house shot killers.

Hey hope I'm not too late but you can just zoom in and watch any of his videos at like .25 playback speed. It's in the video settings on yt if you're on a phone. If you're on computer its also there and in your video settings on the desktop. Pc can let you go frame by frame if you really want some supernatural slow mo So every release you can watch in slow motion of every player that's on video. Hope this helps

I thought it was ridiculous when Luke Rosdahl said the Camo was 'better' than the IQT. I'm sorry but, whether it's a house shot or a low-ratio pattern, what ball is more likely to be put on the rack? The Camo might be very good, but there's a reason the IQTS is coming up on its 10th birthday of continuous production. I think you hit the nail on the head in this video with this comparison.

I have the Camo and tried 2000 surface on it, but didn’t like it. I went back to oob surface and absolutely love that ball. The IQ tour looks like a nice step up from the Camo. I am on the fence on buying either the IQ tour or Hy road pearl.

Another great review Luis, always so careful to give your comments full context. Recently snagged the IQTNP and it's been godly for me on the fresh. Thinking seriously about the IQTS next, and polishing it, based on some feedback from Luke Rosdahl. Just love the shape these balls make. Would really like to see you throw the IQTS (and others) with polish, perhaps from a little more inside. I remember you saying how much you enjoy doing "surface" related videos. =)

I just hardly ever use anything with polish. Plus as an example if I polished a IQTS there’s no way I can play further inside than I play with it at 2000

@@LuisNapoles I admit it was a kinda "niche" request. =) Frustrated with local burnt up conditions, shined up my Omni one day. (Asym, strong core/cover, med/heavy oil ball) and was shocked at just how far inside I could play with it, and be effective. (500/1000/2000/4000 + polish). Looks like an oversized black marble going down the lane. Wouldn't work with every ball I guess, but I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks anyway, and congrats on the 900 Global gig.👍

Lou, just got an IQ tour. I am trying to make the transition from a urethane bowler to a resin bowler and felt the IQ Tour was the best place to start with a benchmark ball.

@@LuisNapoles I tried it last night for the very first time. Kept it at stock grit. Utter fail. Horrible over/under. Ball would either not come back if I missed right, or jump through the nose if I missed left. It turned a simple house shot into a super hard sport shot. Barely got a 159 and put it back in the bag. FAIL. I will try it again tonight but took the grit down to 1500. I think the box 4000 was just too slick for it. It never got into a heavy roll. Hopefully 1500 will help...

@@LuisNapoles Ok, took the Tour down to 1500 and tried it again in league. Night and Day! First game 221 clean, then 208 clean then 182 with two opens. Yes, the ball needed surface, now it rolls like urethane minus the carrydown. I have the same layout on the IQ as my Purple Hammer and they both look the same going down the lane for me. Equally strong and continuous but the IQ burns the lane up forcing me to ball down, something new for me. Now I need a ball down option? 🤷‍♂Welcome to resin I guess. 😂

@@austindouglas730 I did not get a ball down yet. Still working with IQ at different surfaces and in different parts of the lane to understand it better. I learned to bowl with rubber/plastic/urethane so getting used to resin is not easy.

I am a rev dom lefty, bowling on a modified house shot. speed is 15 would that be a cool drilling for my self it looks like the action l am looking for? Hello Lou, I see what you are talking about , but like I said it before, my pro shop operator will not give me my drilling pap etc, witch still frustrates me, I personally think this is wrong , should I find another driller or not ? I won't be TRULY happy until I do what to do ? I am 68 and 205 I got to lose 40lbs ball speed is about 11- 12.2mph, learning to play down and in or up the track frustrated senior citizen.

Hello Luis. Always enjoy your videos. Cameras never really do what you can see justice. I watched one comparison where the camera was really high up so you could truly see the difference in shape. IDK if it was mounted on a tri pod extended to the ceiling or on a truss system like going under a bridge. Anyway that overhead view was amazing. Maybe mess around with trying to see if you can get a view like that and see if you think it shows the ball motion better.

I am looking at the hustle pbr, camo, and rap. I am also considering the burner and the hyped. The PBR would actually be the better comparison with the IQ instead of the Camo. The Camo is clearly a step down from the IQ. With the stronger version of VTC on the PBR, it should be much closer than the Camo is.

The !Q comes at 4000 out the box and the camo is 1500 polish out the box but I sanded them both to 2000 sanded

@@LuisNapoles I am currently throwing Brunswick forest green quantum, web mb, faball blue pearl hammer in my main bag and in my 2nd bag I take to tournaments I have a ebi black hammer urethane, ebi magenta urethane hammer, ebi Columbia 300 black chaos. I am putting some away and getting my hyroad x and my IQ tour solid out and I am looking into some of the storm/ roto grip/global 900 family balls . The camo is number one on list same with the burner pearl. For me being left handed throws 16 to 17mph and have low revs for a typical lefty would the camo and burner pearl be good for the burn in tournaments and league.
