I shoot messengers sometimes my ball speed is up to 16.5 to over 17mph and I get pins flying and ninja kicking the 10 or 8 pin out sometime

Now I currently have four different types of bowling balls and I will be getting a couple of more in the future to complete the arsenal. i’m afraid to mess with the bowling balls because I don’t wanna ruin the surface. The question is, how do you know if it’s simply a surface change rather than to ball change?

Watching again in 2024 bro after having the wolverine since this video... Wildly accurate analysis my guy. I'm a no thumb guy, maybe less revs by a bit but similar shape in the arc. Debating getting a hyroad as a swap with the wolverine.. I have a purple hammer(newer) and a phase 2 with the wolverine. The hammer is more of a breakdown ball whereas the wolverine isn't as great of a transition ball like I'm looking for. That wear down on the right.. angular.. for me just seems the hy road makes more sense. And this is in 2024 lmao. I know of the newer balls the gem and physix and that but simplicity wise and fundamentaly.. feel like hy road may be next for me

The reason why I play the ball inside is that most of the guys in the league play an outside shot ( therefore it’s drier) and I want to take advantage of their being much more oil on the names. The ball is 13 lbs and I throw it around 13.5 mph. Besides that it’s strictly personal but it’s cool to scream KABOOM every time I throw a strike.

Luis it’s disappointing to find out that the COLUMBIA 300 KABOOM was discontinued. I use it and throw it about 4 boards to the left. By the way this passed Tuesday I used it and shot an 806 series ( 3 games). How the ball reacts is that it rolls long and then hooks. I would definitely recommend it for you to try.

Luis, you are absolutely correct about the house ball and thumb. According to USBC rules, you MUST fill all finger holes, EXCEPT if you are throwing a house ball, then you are not required to fill any of the holes. Very specifically, as you said, the dedicated house balls.
