Rotopax mount on a GIVI Canyon Mounting Plate (GRT709)

I received numerous requests to show how I mounted a Rotopax water/gas can to the GIVI Canyon (GRT709) mounting plate. This is a quick tutorial on how I did it.

Hi Matt great video and awesome advice :) I was wandering what is that bag on top rack - also something from Givi or? Is it mounted or just strapped? Thx !

Thanks, the bag on the top rack is also a Givi product. It is an expandable 20 liter tail bag that is waterproof. I carry a tire puncture repair kit in it, drone, snacks, and other camera stuff. It is great for day rides so I dont need saddle bags and gets stuffed when traveling.

Smart! I've been looking for ideas where to put mine. Aren't you worried you may break something (mount or mud guard) if you bottom out the suspension on the trail?

I have bottomed out the suspension quite a few times with no issues. I took into account the wheel travel and positioned the rotopax so that it had clearance. This was a concern but once it was installed I could check for clearance.
