RotoPax Window Mount Install

Put one of these in this last weekend. The window came out surprisingly easy. I used two putty knives. As for the install, make sure to use a thick bead of sealant on the top and bottom because the insert will have to bend to the slight curve of the jeep. The thicker bead will help close up the gap. His Calibrated hand tip is very important. When its tight, dont go past that. I broke off two bolts trying to snug things in.

Man these are pretty damned boss! I’d love to have one of these probably drivers side cause I Like my right rear window for driving…..lots of idiots in the blind spot . I need to save my Pennie’s and hit you up to see if you’re still making these. Very cool idea.

Im not sold on having cans bolted to the ouside of the heep-too many theives, BUT thats a very nice install regardless. Ive been low key looking at doing something with the rear windows... Idk yet

LOL I was cringing the entire time you were yanking on the window looks like Im going to make me some for mine *** I would put a thicker bead around to seal buy a sleeve of the windshield caulk. Great job looks good

Not noisy at all. It’s made out 1/8” steel super high quality. The rotopax itself is mounted with their mount making it very strong and no rattle

The locking wing nut they sell for these are junk. Trying to find a way to lock the container to stop someone from just giving a 1/4 turn and taking the can.
