You guys can be really proud of what you have achieved! Luckily we agreed to do this trip with you. All of us went to the Balkans with only a little knowledge of what was awaiting us. We had some locations we wanted to visit - but everything else was just pure improvisation. Who would have thought we wake up next to a memorial on an important commemoration day? Nobody prepared us for these massive wildfires either - or the fact that we were doing our first drag race, haha. Your film reminds us of how we started to explore and create years ago. In the course of shooting this documentary, not only you grew but also us. Usually, we are behind the cameras and not the ones who are getting interviewed... haha! Let's hope our followers enjoy this film as much as we do! Thanks for sharing this documentary free to watch on KZbin!

As a Bosnian i must say it's quite interesting to see your perspective on the war and how you were taken aback by some things that people survived or in my case reminded of on TV and alike during childhood, even though I didn't quite understand it. I guess i am an idealist, since i think that people here shouldn't hate each other, after all we have the common history and origin.

"If it comes to life, we are all losers"

Awesome production and incredibly shots. I love the fun and humor in this as well as the realism. As an American, I had no idea the extent of some of this with the Yugoslav war. This was a great educational and fun journey for me and I thank you for this video. I found you after watching a BWT episode. Keep up the great work.

Super gute Reportage. :-)

Very cool guys! I lived one year in Croatia and ended up falling in love with the Balkans and this brought back a lot of memories of travels and adventures. Let's all hope peace will remain in this beautiful region. Like many others, Igot here from BWT and I absolutely loved your work with this documentary. Thank you

It is stunning that 50 Years after a world war and holocaust this happens as you said a stones throw away and you didn’t learn about it in history. This film, visiting the death camps, the admission of the slave trade by the British and the Americans are all part of our collective past and have to be remembered. These horrible atrocities are still happening today in different parts of the world. And what we are left with are broken buildings and broken hearts. It is fascinating how nature takes over and finds its way into every part of a building or vessel. The pollution is the most tragically important part that I took away from this journey. Ultimately we don’t inherit this earth 🌍 we borrow it from our children. I hope that your documentary shows people how we are all alike and we are all to be valued. War serves no purpose and destroys our humanity and environment. Thank you for giving me the gift of seeing your work it gives me faith in your generation.

Time is the school in which we learn, time is the fire in which we burn

Ich bin vollkommen begeistert von dieser Doku. Geniale Arbeit.

I really enjoyed this. The history is very sad in these places. I was just a teenager when they mentioned just small blips on the msm. The architecture is truly amazing. Came from BWT and I would say it was worth the time. Keep it up.

This is world-class documentary talent. Congratulations on the professionalism and extraordinary commitment to presenting history with riveting commentary and visuals. If anything exemplifies the horrors of war those images of deceased and injured people, and the transition from the beautiful ex-olympic village/hotel to the devastated ruin was truly shocking.

If I could make one suggestion - try to decrease the volume of backing music during narration as it can be distracting and over-power the words.
