But of course, I'm 31 and Elixir is something I could easily wear and like, I just don't love the far drydown with the licorice and it's a bit too spicy, but it's a 10/10 for a few hours. I am a guy who loves sweet scents, sweet + fresh. That's why I prefer the Gisada. It's just a bubblegummy Elixir with less spice and less vintage vibes. Modern Elixir. Sauvage Elixir is more than the sum of its parts! The blend is so nice. Dense, smooth, sweet, spicy, classy. The liquorice seems to make it smooth, creamy and a little sweet. Glad you both love it as much as I do. Will have to try the Gisada!

I just discovered about Gisada fragrances by watching Michella's CurlyFragrnce although she was recommending the original Ambassador for men in the video. I normally like darker and sexy fragrances so when I found that they have Intense version on their website, I asked Michella which one I should go for and she replied back saying go for the intense as it's a cold season now. Now, I came to your channel as I always love watching your contents as well and love your passionate style, you are now comparing with Dior Sauvage Elixir. Oh boy....I was thinking, please say those two are different fragrances on their own because I tried to like Sauvage Elixir but I couldn't. It turns very screechy and annoying on my skin from the beginning to the dry down. Then I found Gisada and not having any clew that it's even remotely resembling Dior Sauvage Elixir and for someone to compare the two, there must be some resemblance and now I'm having a second thought about Gisada Ambassador Intense. Hmm...🤔I requested a sample however, so I should know the verdict after I try it...fingers crossed! 🤞🏽Have a nice & peaceful fragrant day!

I have both. They are brothers but not twins. For me Elixir is agressive in the opening while Ambassador is also spicy intense is more sweet and fruty . My wife love dior sauvage edt and edp but cant stand elixir while she likes ambassador intense and its an 8 for her. The dry out of gisada is awesome for me, vanilla and fruity with a soft leather and sweet tonka tone. For me ambassador intense is a 9. Performance is solid for both. Im wearing both right now and smelling both and to me elixir is cleaner, smoother and lighter while the Gisada is darker not as fresh and more complex in the dry down It does dry to be smoother but i would say elixir is more mass appealing while Gisada is richer, darker and maybe a bit less mass appealing. Gisada definitely is more fruity while elixir has no fruity aspect to it. As they dry down they become closer to each other. I would say elixir is more versatile weather wise while Gisada would be more at home in colder weather.

Elixir is a totally different scent than sauvage edt and edp they just share the same name for marketing purposes. It's an amazing scent for slightly older guys 35 and older but anyone can rock it. I haven't tried gisada ambassador intense but I'm so eager to try it.

I had a chance to purchase elixir or ambassador and I decided to go with a pure affect by oros, and I am glad I did. I not only save myself a few bucks, but the overall quality and the satisfying aroma with the performance is better than both of those, and it is actually an even presents the whole time you were wearing it, unlike the other two that opened strong and then chill down.

Hi! I've mentioned this before, but every single fragrance compared has wearing experience behind it (some years, some months and some a couple of weeks). So I've worn the scents compared quite a bit over a longer period of time or intensely over a shorter period time. I'm NOT judging off the strip alone. The most awful smell you can experience. After a few hours on your skin you get sick of that smell and get really nauseaus. I thought "Joop Le parfum" was really really bad but "Elixir" tops that easily. It is such a penetrating smell for you and those around you.. You can't do that to anyone.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Elixir. 🙏 I think it's a fantastic scent and my experience of wearing it a lot is that it's a scent a lot of people enjoy. One of my most complimented this year.

I have worn Gisada Intense and Dior Elixir in professional and semi-formal occasions since Thanksgiving. Based upon the responses and compliments I have received in both settings Gisada Intense wins by a nose. It could just be my skin brings out just a little bit "extra" with Gisada Intense. But here is an instance were Dior Savage Elixir worked it's magic. A very important client had a New Year's party and because I was going to be in town through the holiday and the week following, the client's Executive Director kindly extended an invitation, in return for the favor of escorting the firm's newly appointed Associate Director. The new AD had just come stateside from the EU (Paris) and since I speak French fluently he wanted someone who she could converse with in her language. I thought this odd as I knew the AD spoke American English as well. I chose Dior Savage Elixir to add to the ambiance of evening. Well, upon arriving at her co-op for the ride to the party we hit it off. The evening went very well, as the two of us made the rounds during pre dinner drinks and were seated together for dinner. Many of the other guests assumed the AD and I were prior acquaintances. I escorted the AD back to her condo and she invited me up for coffee. Chivalry and my being in a relationship cause me to declined her offer. The next day the Managing Director called very early in the AM requesting a out of office breakfast meeting. At breakfast he told me my firm had been chosen and said his new AD was extremely impressed that there were still mature gentleman in America. The AD also said she appreciated I wore a Dior male fragrance but didn't know the name.
