Rotterdam is worth seeing, but it’s a very modern city and it is totally different from other Dutch cities. It’s almost not „Dutch” at all. Nice vid like always 👌.

For who is wodering why Rotterdam looks so modern compared to other Dutch and other European cities. During the second World War the Nazi-Germans attacked the Netherlands and this city was able to hold against the German troops. The Dutch forces were chaotic, badly prepard and organized. Yet they were able to hold longer then the Germans expected. So what do you do when you can't take a city? That's right, you bomb it down... After which the Netherlands surrendured to save more innocent lives and cities. From the ashes arised this new city with modern architecture that you don't quite oftenly see in other parts of the country and even the entire continent. When you think about skyscraper cities.. European cities wont come to mind. Yet Rotterdam has some. If the Germans never bombed down the city they would have never been there. Just like when a fire burns down a forest. New trees would allways rise up again.
