Wow, what a surprise opening up a video of the Rotterdam marathon and seeing you holding the camera! I'm the guy you sold the running socks to at the marathon expo on saturday! You asked me for my opinion on them afterwards and yeah...they were great! Worked exactly the way I wanted them to (even though they weren't pink ;) ) and I PRed with them on the 1/4 marathon (10km split was 40:34). I subscribed to your channel ofc and wow, I had no idea the kind of runner you are. Congratulations on the marathon, especially impressive after running Amsterdam. If you ever want to go for a run here in NL, then hit me up and I would be glad to. Cheers

Great to hear you did well on your race. I do believe you have me confused with somebody else 😀 I didn’t sell anything at the Expo, but sounds like I have a look alike. 😀 40:34 at 10K is really great, what was your marathon time?

@@RunArnoRun Okay, maybe I am confusing you for somebody else. Seems like you do have a look alike, yes :). I wish that was my marathon 10km split, I just did the 1/4 marathon so 10.55km. I've never run further than a half-marathon, but I'm contemplating Rotterdam in April 2022

@@minc1997 I never wanted to run a marathon, until I did and now I love running them. You have plenty of time to train before April, so would be a great goal to have. 👍🏻

respect Arno, two runs after another and although your legs were hurting as hell, it's still a very good time in my opinion! I won't get this finish time, even with good legs, lol. thanks for this great vlog!

Thank you. Yeah, every time I wanted to walk for a bit there were people in the crowd that kept cheering me on and told me to keep going, so I ended up running again. Happy with the time.

Very different perspective of the same race as your other video, and appreciated this one from a marathon experience standpoint for sure!

Yeah, in this one you get to see more of my struggle with the race, man it was tough. 😄

My legs are slowly feeling better, but Sunday and Monday they felt like they were on fire. Some rest time is in order now.
