And the segment "thousands of years of wrath and fire will reign" literally references the Thousand year long war of God and his armies against evil from the book of revelations. The original Dies Irae is also a medieval catholic hymn about the final judgement.

@Nathair Agreed, the band may not send some soft christian message like "love thy neighbor" but I think they are still neutral about Religion and Satanism. And it is more about Religion as some great force that is sometimes dreadful and incomprehensible. For example: The earth Thousands of years of wrath and pain The birth A kingdom of light and fire will reign The life References the christian belief that Jesus will return one day and fight this Thousand year war to bring the Kindom of God upon the human world.
