Hi Chris! Thank you for being one of the only ones that covers the powercommander + dongles on youtube! I have a question about using the dongles. I understood that when the full map with dongles is installed the check engine light comes on permanently. Is this true for you and has rottweiler already come up with a solution for this? Thanks! Why didn't you show you connecting those little Grey and red connections? With those dongles.. what happens if a something does go wrong with the air flow and your bike is just going to think everything Is cool?

Do you think the richer fuel mixture makes the bike less snatchy at low speeds? I am looking for smoother throttle response. thanks!

I was told the latest firmware for the bike makes things smoother.... give it a shot

I now have the latest firmware and the bike is definitely smoother....I have not noticed difference in ridability with or without the powercommander...(with powercommander obviously more power)

I, for the life of me, cannot get the “quick disconnect” liken on the fuel tank to disconnect at all.

Same the green part comes loose but I get get the unit apart on my 890r damn it

@@jnat7806 try pushing the two parts together, that’s what finally worked for me. Seems the O ring gets a little swollen and needs to be worked back and forth.

At first some came out but just a tiny bit....then it stopped.... I believe it was only the connectors left over fuel

Hahaha the bike is awesome! "But" it does come with some headaches... honestly I cannot complain too much because the bike has given me more smiles than grins but not everyone shares the same luck

I have the Duke 2020 790 where can I find a good ecu ? Power commander or PowerTRONIC? And if I want to install a competition werkes USA slip on ,I need an ecu? Or not really.

You can get a powercommander thru Rottweiler performance.... normally you can get a bit more power using an ECU when installing aftermarket parts like a slip-on

Does anyone know what a powercommander does to an A2 restricted bike? Does it convert it to full power or do you get about the same preformance boost like the full power version?

No and Yes, most a2 restricted bikes have an plate mounted on the injektor valve that needs to be changed But on duke 790 l you have to Get your KTM dealer to upload an New map.
