The boy came up to me with his head down to show me he wasn't a threat. I got to pet him and spend time with him, he seemed lonely.

Unfortunally the bred its considered dangerous in my country. As so i would need to keep it kinda jailed in everyway. As so i will not get it. Amazing how people still believe that the behavior its per race/bred. Every race can be trained to do good or bad. Also like the human each have theire way of being. Oh well.

AllthingsBruno I agree. Also he would suffer. No one likes to be in a jail. Even more when done nothing to deserve such. Relationship is essential for every dog otherwise they will be afraid of the unkown and think that by attacking they will be protecting us. Im probably getting a dooberman. Those are not considered as a danger bred in my country. I hope that one day rules change and i will have the possibility of caring a dober and a rott together. Subscribed ;)

So happy she lived long enough to be there for my son's early years. Instantly became his little protector, well she wasn't so little. Was there for those crucial years of play and being dressed up.

Oh man, seeing your Bruno as a pup reminds me of when my pups where still pups (my profile pic is of my momma dog Miss Alabama that I got at 6 weeks old and 3 of her 9 pups she had). In my profile pic you can see one the pups cleaning Bama's ear, one cleaning her mouth, and the other pup pulling his sister's tail The 4th pup is off screen nursing. The other pups were sleeping. If you look, Bama is dead asleep and the pups are only 4 weeks old then! Bama's sire was a 200-pound Gladiator Rottweiler and her dam was a 127-pound XL American German Shepherd AFTER she gave birth and nursed 10 very huge pups! I love seeing your pup then as an adult! I will definitely watch part 2! I love how you trained your pup. I trained my pups to be guard dogs; 6 of the pups became full-fledged guard dogs. Two were mine, two were my mom's guard dogs, and the other 2 were my friends' guard dogs. Ruby, one of the pups I trained up to 1-year (my friend lived next door) actually was trained to guard my friend's babies and her. We didn't know that her training would actually save all three of them and actually keep their attacker (my friend's ex-husband) at bay after he had started to hit my friend and throwing dresser drawers at the two kids! Ruby literally got ahold of him and wouldn't let him go. She even moved him backwards out of the room while still hanging onto him with her very sharp teeth and very strong jaws! After he was arrested, he actually threatened to kill his ex-wife, the kids, and even me, because my dogs went crazy when they heard their daughter/sister growling and attacking! I went over and told Ruby to "hold onto him"! He was hitting her as hard as he could and she still wouldn't let him go! My friend was able to lock herself and the kids in the bedroom after Ruby got him out of it! I even had to call Ruby "off" when the Police went to arrest him. They didn't want to even come into the house because they were afraid Ruby may go after them. She released and came to me and they took him into custody! He even tried to kill Ruby one time when he came into my friend's yard after he was served with a "no contact" order while out on bail awaiting trial. Thank God the judge revoked his bail and he had to stay in jail till he went to trial. He was found guilty and was sentenced to prison time! Rottweilers have hearts of gold but jaws of pain and/or death if need be!
