I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

FreeSoftware I agree! That was worse than listening to Taylor Swift and Katie Perry. But watching those router scenes was riveting, so it was a must to listen to the router and the music.

Great job! Shame you didn't have any English sub titles. It would have been nice to know what you would use it for by giving us some examples - The Hardware looked magnificent - I would like one purely for the hardware - whether I would ever use it is beside the point. I am still confused why people post "Instructional Videos" and don't give any instruction to the audience. To me this is just showing off your skills and not really teaching much of anything. Sure, experienced woodworkers understand what you are doing but not the people who want to learn.

Why does the hardware not mount flush on the table bottom?
@Allbbrz6 жыл бұрын
Just because you either lose that vertical extra 1/2 inch or the benchtop is too "thin"... if the bench is fatter, then you mount it flush
@AlexanderSchrepfer7 жыл бұрын
Seems like that should have been mounted a little deeper. Doesn't make sense to me why you'd want the bottom of the vise sticking out of the bottom of the bench vs. having it be flush.
@Scatterpattern3 жыл бұрын
It’s because of the thickness of the bench top. If the rails were mounted deeper, the threaded rod would need to be closer to the bench top, and the hand wheel would therefore sit partially above bench height, meaning it could be hit by hand planes etc.

every video maker has over $20,000 tools and makes a table. where do these people get so much money for tools? does making videos make so much money?
@vikassm4 жыл бұрын
🤣🤣 I used to wonder the same thing! Eventually I started making stuff but never found the time to shoot or upload videos. Paying the bills required taking up dull jobs and finishing them as quickly as possible. Finally I stopped doing those jobs, now I have all the time in the world to make videos but again no work to do 😂😂😂 It's a very very tiny subsection of maker-youtubers who make money from videos, either ad-revenue, affiliate links or patreon supported. (Diresta & AvE to name two)
