Rough and Blown Out - Hammer to Old School // Raw Rides // Silver Mountain - Kellogg, ID

This one of the most popular trails at silver mountain; Hammer! It's normally a flow jump trail, but now it's late season so it's in really rough shape and a little hard to keep your speed up in places, but it's still a blast of a trail even when it's blown out.

Lol ya. Hard to move dirt with no moisture, but you could probably get some there with an atv or something no work on the trails in the dry season.

Rough and blown out was about my impression of Silver Mountain when I rode there in early August. Also the blue trails there are basically featureless, and there is no real progression, a beginner won't be able to get down the mountain at all and the blue trails won't help an intermediate rider move onto black trails. What I did like was the sheer elevation drop, it takes 45+ min to ride from top to bottom, and really scenic gondola ride back up.
