Those shims will eventually rot and that wall is going to eventually come down an inch. That temporary beam support was concerning as well. I wish you had showed us the point load support in the center of the structure where those two floor systems are being supported. Are they using a couple of 2-by material there?

I will cover that tonight. You did see just 2x material, but my guess is they might have put in the steel concrete-filled stanchion posts today. LOTS of work happening on the second day today. I think they have 6 or 7 people there today including the actual builder himself.

Unless they add steel shims to supplement the soft shims they used, in a few years those wood shims will be a LOT thinner

I just still get a kick out of the fact you just casually walking around with a camera pointing at things after the guys have left for the evening. I just find that funny..no offense.

It's going to get so much better. Wait until you see what I have planned for a month from now when it's dark after they leave... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
