The way the Cherokee XJ handles those challenging terrains is a testament to its engineering. Jeep heritage at its finest.

This is the best video yet, I was debating on a 4.5 or 6.5 long arm but I think I might just go with the 4.5!

I played without sound, listen to the first record of Miles Davis, if this car it's an American original, Miles will be a perfect companion to drive it. The video it's impressive, what a wonderful job you did there guys, just beautiful. I own a 2000 xj, I'm in love with it, it's like a toy, but real.

how are rough country lifts compared to skyjacker, fabtech, bds, etc. I'm planning on getting one on a silverado 2500. Is it worth the money if i do very minimal off road, mainly going to hunting camp stuff nothing to serious, or should i opt out get get the higher option kits? Also how is the ride quality compared to other kits on trucks?

how much do this tires stick out i want to run 33s with my 4.5" lift
@DrivingLine7 жыл бұрын
At 4.5 inches, you'll need to do some fender and front bumper trimming as the tires stick out from the fenders a fair amount.
@albertort17 жыл бұрын
Driving Line do you have any pictures of the front i would like to see how much they stick out

There are photos of it in the article, but we don't have any straight on at the moment. www.drivingline.com/articles/cherokee-control-rough-country-s-45-long-arm-suspension-review/

The owner hasn't re-geared, but it's not a bad idea. He's working on some other upgrades before he goes into the axles.

Pretty sure they installed the shocks upside down. Jeep looks good either way👍
@DrivingLine7 жыл бұрын
The shocks can only go on one way in the front. They are also correct out back per the instructions. Thanks for viewing!
@kdigiacomo7 жыл бұрын
Shocks are not upside down. Shocks are made so that they can be mounted inverted this way. Most all performance shocks are mounted with the body of the shock mounted to the vehicle, not the axle.

Anybody know a rough estimate on what this costs installed? I know prices will vary but just a ballpark figure
@Sn95MoneyPit6 жыл бұрын
Most shops around here will charge the same on the install as what you pay for the parts, 2500-3k total with a few steering upgrades, but its a very simple at home weekend job for anyone with a little common sense
@agent04446 жыл бұрын
Do it your self . not hard just time consuming if it's your first time . You'll have 3k in parts easy
@codycampbell21675 жыл бұрын
The long arm lift at 4.5 from rough country is only 1300 unless you upgrade your steering. And the slip yoke eliminator is only about 300
