Man. I can't even begin to describe how much I love my xj. I got a 2000xj sport and I blew the motor 2k miles after I put the lift kit and everything else on it lol. Piston skirt broke, I ordered the s&j stroker engine to replace it. It's expensive but no regrets at all. I will be doing the Final assembly of the engine in my kitchen coz I live in an apartment and work as a mobile tech for a nationwide body shop company. I will be filming it and putting it on KZbin as well as the recovery jobs I'll be doing after I get v2 done. Iono how many versions come after this but I'm excited already lol. Anybody else love their xj?

Attention to detail is perfect. The fact that you rag on the jk owners makes me feel like im not the only one. Your cherokee is slick, any true jeep enthusiast would have waved. Wrangler owners against all others pretty much. I drive a grand and I actually got a wave for the first time in.. a year and a half? I couldnt believe it.. And mines all done up almost as much as your cherokee minus some drivetrain. I also am very fond with the flares, going to be getting me a set eventually

Love the RealHawk. I am building my own XJ and have added your vanguard rear bumper, a front bumper, OME 3.5 inch lift, quick disconnects, 31 inch tires, fender flares, and will soon have the vanguard rear tire carrier with all the add-ons plus your gas tank skid and rock rails. I am curious of what type of gas mileage to expect as I think mine is a bit low. It seems I am averaging about 180 miles per tank in my 2001 XJ with 156k miles on it. Is this normal?

My XJ is jealous. It is in need of so serious TLC. It lost the daily driver to the motorcycle for 3 years and can't make the 120 mile round trip commute this last year. I need to look more at your rear bumper, been wanting something to throw the spare tire on instead of laying in the back taking up space. Did you do anything else to the motor besides the new exhaust? Has a great sound.

I helped my nephew purchase an XJ. We installed a 4 inch lift, larger tires and custom winch bumpers with lights. One day he comes over to show me what he got. He was all excited because he did an even trade. His XJ was traded for a Toyota Civic with less miles that was lowered, had a fart pipe, was primer ed for paint and had a loud radio. The piece of junk did have less miles than the XJ, but it had bow legged small rims and rode about two inches off the ground. I told him he was stupid and not to ask for any help when the pile of junk breaks down on him. Two weeks later, his junk pile fell into a moderate pothole and lost the front suspension, CV Joint drive axle and oil pan. I did not say a word. I think the piece of junk was toed to the junkyard. I hope he enjoyed his Fast and Furious Civic with a Vtech the short time it was blowing smoke out the fart can tail pipe.
