The poor and dark side of Lagos. Like Makoko and Ajegunle, this Bariga is populated by those living below the poverty line. Even in the best known cities of the world, you have slums, shanties and ghettos. This should challenge the government to step up programmes to relocate, resettle the residents and develop these areas.
