Rough running diagnosis | Mercedes 220CE W124 coupe | Not A Proper Classic

My 1993 Mercedes 220CE (W124 coupe/C124) has developed a rough running issues with its 2.2l M111 engine.
Here, I turn detective and try to diagnose the issue and work out why the car has a lumpy idle and/or dying after start up.

Dude I have what looks to be exactly the same problem or very similar. Rac guy said he thought it’s the inlet manifold with mine so waiting for a garage appointment (e200) 96 w124

Thanks for the heads up on that and let me know how it goes. I’ve got new ignition leads coming and I’m hoping that’ll fix it. I’ll do an update video when the parts arrive.
