Rough Ryder Canoe Torture Test

I put a Rough Ryder Barlow through a series of tests to see how well it would do. I was suprised.
Test:
1. Cardboard slice
2. Lattice cut
3. Stick approx 1/2" cut
4. Charcole briquet
5. Oak.........
6. Bottle cap stab
7. License plate stab
Unfortunately the test finished on step 5.

Nice video! Good traditional knife torture test. Not many making these videos. I'm looking at getting a case canoe in tru sharp stainless. I wonder how it would hold up compared to the chrome vanadium.

Honestly, that was a brutal test. I drove that blade into a knot in the wood. Knots are traditionally extremely hard. I'll give the blade credit for going in, it just didn't have the strength to come out. Brutal....
