The Sun has gone down Bosshogman,,,,, 2023 was not good for my fish or my Bucks,,,,so far. The spring flood blew half of my fish into the Gulf of Mexico and the summer drought knocked out another big chunk of my Big Bass and Crappie,,,,,so far i got Diablo, Hurt buck, Mature 8,,,i'm missing Big Red, Bent brow tine and Young tall 8,,,,i sure miss not seeing Big Red,,,,,for 3 years every morning and evenings i spent hours around that Buck, he wouldnt let me hand feed him but he let me get so close, the woods seem barren without him, not giving up hope but it doesnt look good. Diablo kicked butt to control the yard deer,,,,,if Big Red could have taken him maybe he wouldnt have roamed off. I do have a nice 8 pt that came in during the Rut, i saw him last year,, he is not as Big as Red, but he is Nice and a Stud. Last year i didnt loose ONE Buck, dang i miss Big Red, i heard some yahoo that couldnt be Happy with ONE shot 3 Axis Bucks north of me, there is no limit or season so the FAKE hunters wipe em out when possible. I'm a Great hunter i shot 3 Axis, would have been better to let the other 2 breed and build the herd up,,,but they are WAY to STUPID to realize that. I would be REAL Careful how people treat animals,,,,,,,God know's and is watching, God say's the Lion will lie with the Lamb and the Lion will eat Hay,,,,i dont think God wants me gnawing on a leg bone while the Lion watches me. I'm not a anti-hunter, i dont like where hunting is headed these day's,,it seems killing is more in than enjoying the Outdoors. Thats morbid all the Kill shot video's on u-tub,,,,,,enjoying watching animals die is not my thing nor would it make God Happy in my opinion,,,,,,,,,,,Adios and Godspeed to ya

I got a Nice 11 point Buck December 21st My Birthday. I just got to the stand did not even have a Chance to settle in and I heard something behind me and when I looked all I could see was Horns coming like 18 yards in front of me. I grunted and he stopped and looked and shot him Right in the shoulder and he went straight down did a little stanky Leg and was dead when he hit the Ground. I sat there for like 15 minutes and from the same place came this 9 Point Buck so I waited until he was like 20 yards away and said Hey Buddy I;ll see you next year and he looked stood there for like 3 minutes and kept walking. Both Bucks were following the same path I walked with Doe in heat Urine on my boots. First time trying it and it worked like a charm.
