Re the chat on show around how Annesley would respond to Grant sin-binning this afternoon (great result re no crackdown so shouldn't become a thing). "There has been no directive given to match officials or the match review committee about any supposed crackdown on incidents like that," Annesley said. "That is purely a discretionary matter for the referees and bunker to use their judgement in determining what action should be taken in any incident of alleged foul play."

Imagine if the broncos didnt have- mam- rikki-piakura- staggs - reynolds for half a game. Thats virtually what the warriors were missing in capewell- niukore- metcalf- rts and then sj getting injured halfway through. Obviously they are different players individually matching up but they are our first choice players in those same positions as the mentioned broncos players . We dont hear anything about it. Only hear about injuries when its the broncos or panthers or another big team.. we all seen what the roosters did to the broncos when reyno went off. Imagine if they started the game without mam,staggs piakura,rikki also.

It’s not just this week bro. They’ve lost to 3 bottom 8 sides in a row. Storm or Penrith aren’t losing to the Dragons Titans & Knights in a row without the key players you mentioned. They’d find a way to win.
@thorneobrien20865 ай бұрын
@@BlokeInABar yeah and the boys tried hard to find a way to win the titans and knights game, dragons game we got pumped. Have to take into account 2 tries disallowed in both of the titans and knights games that arguably should/could have went our way including the penalty try debacle with dwz vs the knights. Storm got so lucky against titans, broncos and bulldogs winning those games by 2 points with some absolutely horrific calls going their way late in all those games. and the storm lost to the knights and lost to the sharks when finally a shocking call went against them. The margins in NRL are so fine that injuries and reffing decisions do actually play a huge part.

@@thorneobrien2086 totally get they are your team bro so you are passionate. But as of last week they had the 6th most injuries (as in experience out) in the comp. In regards to experience out with injury it went Souths Raiders Parrra Storm Broncos Warriors. Souths have been smashed with injuries & we have been just as critical about them as we were of the Warriors on this episode. Raiders have more players out & no where near the roster warriors do & are above them on the table. If Warriors are premiership threats like we thought they were they wouldn’t have dropped all of those games over the past month against bottoms 8 sides. Maybe 1 or 2 but not all

@@BlokeInABar manly rabbitohs dolphins sharks raiders roosters titans, those are all teams that were ahead of us after 10 rounds last year and we know how that season turned out for those teams. Although the boys are underperforming at the moment all im saying is there are so many factors involved, especially some decisions recently around no tries that should of 10000% gone our way and those fine margins may have cost us taking home the 2 points in a game or 2 this last month,although we got a call against manly late there were many horrendous calls that went against us early that game especially the so called disrupter call on capewell when Tommy turbo Dropped it cold, now theyve stopped calling any disrupters lol other teams like melbourne seem to constantly get the rub of the green in tight games where they have not been the better team bar the weekend vs sharks. Its pretty early in the season to be counting the boys down and out. Considering there are 14 or 15 more games to be played for them.

Might need a fact check but during the game Vossy mentioned the Broncos only had 5 tackles inside the attacking 20 for their first 4 tries (because of the 2 long range tries) Also Ezra Mam and Jordan Riki might be top 3 long range kick chasers in the Comp along with Liam Martin. The pressure they put on opposition fullbacks is under rated

I dont know why it didnt get mentioned during the Rabbitohs talk. But Latrell was really poor. Yeah he had a couple of tries and a try assist, but they arent off his own brilliance, most likely anyone in that role would of gotten the tries as well. He was so unfit. hes had 4 weeks off he should have been training hard and ready to go, but he was gassed after 10 minutes, and he only had like 4 runs. Didnt hornby say Trell was ready to go? it looked far from it. He was also shocking in defence, the dragons scored 2 tries cause Trell couldnt ground the bloody ball. I also dont get the blues chat anymore. Yes he was great 4 YEARS AGO, would queensland be scared to see him out there? if i were them i wouldnt be, he cant even turn up for his own club, why would he turn up for his state now. They would send all their traffic and kicks his way, gas him after 10 minutes and then he wouldnt be able to do anything in attack for the blues and just wasting the jersey.

Well if refs were consistant within the same weekend with the severity of calls most people wouldnt be too toxic to refs. Nothing worse when one night thats a sin bin and next day its play on. If the refs can unify their calls and not have two different games have two different calls if its the same type of play

NSW has it's chance to do to us QLD what we did to them in 2020. We are for the first time clear favourites as long as Harry Ben Daly Munster Carrigan and Walsh stay healthy and continue playing well. In 2020 we had to field players who where barely considered first graders just look up those 3 teams and some of QLD's players have not played in the NRL since 2021 2022 and we won 2 - 1. NSW should of pumped us 3 games straight but got beat by Qld cup sides with Munster carrying a state on his shoulders. Who will save NSW? If 2020 didn't happen this series would be Boring as bat shit. But now we will get to see if the players actually care for the jersey like we do or NSW is a commercial run business therefore any human elements of the game where removed long ago. IMO Crighton Bizza Moses and then either Luai or Burton to play 6 are you're first four picked and probably you're only hope of getting the team up and making it competitive. Luai has played some of his best games when he was not with Clearly I would be tempted to go Luai and Burton unless Mitch is 100% healthy upon return.
