​@@RealAfricanDudeMostly because most people saw that Sean Strickland won the fight, and DDC only got the win because of cashing in on the WWE drama from Izzy and him, before Sean won fair and square and became the champion. Before when Izzy was champ all his fans and all the ones who always jumps to be huge fans of the lastest guy holding the belt. Those guys always said that if it's a close fight you have to give it to the champion. You have to take it from the champ convincingly if you want to earn that belt. James won on points fair and square and DDC didn't "take" nor "earn" it. Without that racial motivated WWE style fight in the making, Sean Strickland wins. There's even the possibility that that judge who gave it to Driccus instead of Sean was a hater who doesn't like Strickland. Dana and Joe Rogan both thought it was a horrible decision that Sean Strickland won. I sure hope he can put it right in the rematch. Driccus can't hide for many months and that fight is the only one he has to choose from.

@@Ewil.Bluetooth You don't have to take a belt, there is no special scoring system for the champion. The scorecards decide the outcome. If DDP is so mediocre what does that make Izzy and Rob? Sean has already shown that he is scared of DDP by refusing to fight in Africa. DDP wont leave anything to the judges in the rematch. He will make Sean cry twice and end his carreer. Dana White and Joe Rogan are both very biased when it comes to DDP. Did you watch Joe's reaction to DDP's last fight? There is no comment section on a scorecard. DDP is the champ and no amount of people bitching on KZbin will change that.

Without any great pretensions, just a freestyle monologue giving a basic breakdown... hello, young Stephen has nailed it. That's the fight I pretty much saw. It was a great fun, really fun to watch, it had intrigue, but Dricus just was never on the ropes. He'd tired out Adesanya as much as himself, he just doesn't bother wasting energy hiding it. And he took the chance to rest, methinks. He knew it was time to wrap it up... no point going to a decision and getting more body shots. So he wrapped it up. You get the sense that not much happens that surprises him, especially after the first round. He's just reading it like a book and knows himself so well, he knows how to get the game changer.

Dricus pretty much always goes for a finish. It's one thing you can rely on, he's going to come out and go for it. He might look a bit awkward but his team have clearly done something with him. As for his last name, you can pronounce it Du-ple-sea more or less.

Notice how whenever Izzy changed stance, Dricus would soon follow suit to end up in an open stance match up. Not sure if this was for defense, for a better blitz, whether he wanted better access to certain angles with his kicks, etc. But everytime Izzy switches stance, Dricus does the same to remain in an open stance.

I definitely had 1 and 3 for Izzy due to significant strikes and damage. Round 2 all Dricus. Adesanya definitely showed a game plan against the Dricus, but does anyone in the the division have the size and skill to implement it? Izzy had a the length but didn't cover the hose head in round 4? Why when a dude it's throwing 1 punch do you noticed gaurd for that punch?

It' kinda funny but I don't think I watched a single current UFC fighter's prediction of this fight where they said they think DDP is gonna win (except Whittaker). The guys that participate in the sport as their careers couldn't recognize the skill level which is wild. Only the fans and some select youtubers were predicting DDP's win. I had a feeling during the whole buildup of the fight that DDP was gonna drop Izzy and finish him with ground and pound or a submission.

It’s ironic the way everyone questioned DDP’s gas tank when his opponents are more tired than he is. Izzy looked fresh at the start of every round but DDP kept grinding him towards the end. Look at DDP resume. He has a healthy balance of stoppages in the first, second, third and now the championship rounds. He is not a one round fighter.
